Als ich den Kellner freundlich fragte, ob wir uns an einen der anderen leeren Tische setzen könnten, weil uns zu kalt war, wurden wir nur unfreundlich abgewiesen, alles sei schon reserviert. Die anderen Tische blieben leer. Das war erst der Anfang. Wir warteten 1,5 Stunden auf unser Essen. Die Vorspeisen kamen einzeln und die Portionen waren winzig. Der Geschmack war ok. Wir waren ohne Reservierung an einem Samstagabend hier und hatten Glück: Draußen gab es noch einen kleinen Tisch. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns für den Nagomi Nigiri Teller entschieden, Edamame vorweg und frischgezapftes Kirin vom Fass, das ich sehr empfehlen kann. Draußen ist das Ambiente etwas sparsam, aber wir waren gut unterhalten beim Beobachten der Passant*innen. Obwohl das Lokal sehr voll war, kam das Sushi nach relativ kurzer Zeit. The food we had was good, at least what was delivered. In general a disappointing service. Some ordered items were not delivered, even after waiting longer and longer and also asking a second time. When paying (note: I had to walk inside the establishment, as...the request for the bill also was in vain), I was initially not believed about it and there were subsequent verifications and more time lost. I would rather expect apologies and maybe a discount. Never again. They seem to be very popular, but they shouldn’t accommodate more guests that they can handle. we were with 2 business colleagues, one of whom had recommended this restaurant. the facility is very simple, almost in a cafe style, but do not let it be quenched. the kitchen is open to the sitting area of the main restaurant, so there are some cookery but these were minimal, not as bad as described by another critic. eating is very good, and this restaurant is praised as one of the most authentic japaners in düsseldorf. we had a selection of maki, sushi, nudelsuppe, fried tofu and souligel. all well and the service of the ladies was friendly and efficient. This is a very busy and very noisy restaurant. The tables are a bit close to each other. They didn't have enough staff so sometimes drinks/food came quickly, other times it was much slower. The food itself was very good
