Nakamori Japanese Bistro

This was a great place to try out to eat besides the part that they close at 10pm and we visited their location at 9pm. That's when they start cleaning. The cleaning products that they were using didn't smell like they were diluted and were really strong. The area my boyfriend and I sat in was freshly mopped... Perfect. Inhaling cleaning products while I try to enjoy my sushi. Although the staff neglected to seat us in an area that was not yet mopped, the food was pretty good. I would rate the food a 4-star and the experience as a 3-star. The waiter didn't tend to us for water or check-in during our meal. Authentic Japanese and Asian fare served in a stylish bistro setting in Edina. The food is fabulous. The service is a bit frantic but I think the staff is just working hard to keep everyone happy with limited personally. You can sit restaurant style and be served by helpful waitresses or sit at the sushi bar watch your meal be prepared. Full bar and strong choice on beer and wine. It does not fell like you are eating in a strip mall. A solid choice for lunch or dinner.

I came here after seeing such great pictures of their food. I ordered a tuna roll, salmon roll, and eel sashimi along with miso soup. My favorite part was the eel, it was well cooked and flavored. The rolls weren't rolled very well which was disappointing. I'll give Nakamori another go at it!

thick sashimi pieces and delicious sushi rolls. the best sushi I had in mn. it can be a little expensive, but the quality is worth it! they will not find a piece sashimi here at an all you can eat sushi place in mn! Réservez une table maintenant

service was amazing! I have the Hibachi Riding and Bmw Roll! the food was so delicious and even better, they give you yam sauce with the rice! so good! the prices are also reasonable! will definitely come back!

such a delicious sushi. the place is very clean and they make brilliant sushi. Drink menu is really great and the happy hour price on both drinks and sushi is just the icing up for this place. we come back!

The area is nice and close to other stores. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The hibachi options were good. The sushi was also yummy. I would say some of the fish didn't look fresh but it tasted ok.
