Pretty underwhelmed. We had a group of 12 people and could sit quickly. The food was okay under season for the most part, but the service was not the best. Our chef seemed to be somewhere, but on that day at work and get confronted when you go to a Japanese steakhouse, the show? is the best part! We didn't. Streng food preparation. I thought it might be just me, but after the meal, our whole party was basically about one thing or another. The chef even flew to one of the guests, got fat on her pants and a grocery spot on her shoe and did not realize that it even happened. He just passed after he was brought to his attention. All in all this would not be my first choice of Japanese steakhouse...
Super busy on a Sunday night, opted to eat at the bar thinking it would be quicker. Bartender was great, gentleman with a beard. He was quick to get drinks and menus. Ordered a few rolls. Thankfully he informed us the kitchen was backed up. We didn?t have time before a show, so he cancelled it for us. Came back after the show, kitchen was still backed up. Ha! The bartender was able to get the rolls to go, which was great of him. To go sushi is just not the same, with the sauces and everything, it was still really tasty! I wish the menu had a larger selection, less items with cream cheese
We had a wonderful Father?s Day outing. Our party of 3 was a walk-in. We had a bit of a wait but we spent the time at the bar. The bartender was newer, but she was welcoming and did a great job. We were seated with a party of 7 (parents and 5 kids) celebrating Father?s Day as well. It was a great experience. The cook (I think his name was Josh) was engaged and entertaining. Our server was attentive and took great care of us. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice.
