While in Berne with friends we spotted the menu on the street and decided that was where we'd have dinner. It's on the first floor reached by either a narrow set of stairs or there is a lift. We were surprised that it was almost completely empty we were there from about 7:30PM to 9:00 PM on a Saturday night. The man who greeted us was very friendly, and thought it was funny that we didn't speak German. He ended up also being our server, and was super attentive. I had the Banana Curry which was fantastic. One friend had the Omelete, and the other had the fried white fish. Everything was delicious. For dessert I had an item I cant remember the name of, but it was like vermicelli. It was a past...
We made the mistake of eating at this restaurant. Apparently, they will be closing in three weeks. Why they don't just shut the doors is a mystery to me. And a warning to other USA citizens-they have horse meat on the menu. Really?!? No, it is not a pizzeria since they don't sell pizza, despite their name. The food is rather boring and very overpriced even for Switzerland and the owner waits on tables and dishes out smart remarks along with the food on their very limited menu. Do yourself a favor and eat at one of the hundred other restaurants in Bern that aren't shutting down in three weeks.
Went here today for lunch and had the lunch buffet.. the food was really good and we didn't understand why this place had such a low rating. deserves all 5 stars.. had the best quality indian food in switzerland (i am indian and can testify) and the buffet even had a dessert?? wow! I was so impressed with everything. Amazing. and very reasonable rate. hats off
it's a place with a special dedication to the late Swiss clown Grock, and it has one of the nicest inner courtyards with restaurant service in Bern. the food is nice and tasty and the variety of drinks makes the meeting with friends very enjoyable.

Was OK. Unfortunately there is no longer a large selection (lunchtime). Unfortunately only sauces, dahl with sauce and vegetables with sauce. No more meat for us from the buffet because it 's finished . The service was friendly.
They grab easily 5* for the food and the standard they maintain everyday . I have been there 8 times almost and totally enjoyed the food
Very average food and service. Chapati is horrible but you can try Nan.
