After a days travelling we stopped at Nana's at about 20.15 and it looked as if it was the only place open and we were hungry. We sat outside and ordered a spaghetti bolognese for me and a lasagne for my wife. When the food...turned up my spag bol was fine, plenty of it and tasty, but the lasagne was more like a burnt offering as the sauce that had spilled out was rock hard and stuck to the dish. Stupidly, we didn't say anything at the time as the rest of the meal looked edible. However, this wasn't the case as the majority of the meal was burnt as well. We brought it to the waiters attention, he apologised and offered us a Grappa as some sort of rapprochement, but we said we would rather th...

Best harbour view in Lindau! The extensive upstairs terrace was a delight at the weekend, in bright sunshine but with many large sunshades to protect diners. The terrace overlooks the harbour at exactly the point where all the ferries dock, so guests can watch the...skilled maneuvering of the ferry captains and check out the passengers from a 'bird 's eye view ' people-watching position. Beyond the pretty harbour and lighthouse, diners can enjoy watching sailboats and powerboats on Bodensee and gaze, from Germany, over to the beautiful Swiss and Austrian Alps on the south and east sides of the lake. Drinks and food are all reasonably-priced and the service to our large family group, from a n...

We visited this restaurant 1 week ago. We ordered a pasta and fish and chips. Since we are not big drinkers we ordered half glasses of wine (1/8). In normal german restaurants you pay half the price of a 1/4 . But here the price...of 1/4 is 5,90 and for 1/8 we had to pay 3,90. So 2 euro more for 1/4. This was not mentioned in the menulist. Then the 2 plates we ordered were not served at the same time. I had almost finished my plate when the food of my companion arrived. When we asked for the bill we found out the price of the Wine. Outrageous. Total rip off. The most expensive dinner we had in the area. Our advise: stay away !

With my aunt and her family I wanted to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere in the port of Lindau. So I reserved the Nana team a table outside. In the restaurant, they told me they had the table on the top of the terrace. That's the best view. We had a table right on the front with a perfect view over the arriving and departing ships. But soon after we ordered our dinner, they started cleaning the rest of the desks and closing at 19:30. The service even took care of when our glasses were empty. This is when I decided not for a good ice cream (which they really have). Réservez une table maintenant

Nana is located on the shore and is a great place to stop for a drink and watch the world over. The outdoor tables have large parasols and offer a 'front row seat' for view of the Barvarian Lion and lighthouse. We were drawn by the sign advertisement milkshakes and I was 't disappointed; delicious and generous in size! The service for placing our order was instant and our drinks were short after, but we found it a little difficult to catch the eye of an employee if we wanted to pay the bill that is also worth it, that the payment is only cash.

We were looking for a light dinner after a big lunch and chose Nana because we liked the Bruschetta on the menu. We ordered our meals and a couple of glasses of local wine after an extended wait, it certainly wasn't busy, only to have...one glass of wine spilled over us whilst the waiter poured and the meals to be slapped down on the table without any acknowledgement. The prices weren't cheap and fortunately the kitchen didn't match the front of house, but I expected better.

During our two weeks in Germany, this was by far our worst dining experience. When the waiter deigned to leave off chatting with his pals at other tables, he brusquely took our order. The food was dropped on the table with no napkins, no silverware,...no side plates and no salt or pepper. And it tasted like it had come from the freezer aisle of the local supermarket. Yes it's on the water (by the ferry docks for you diesel fume fans), but a view isn't everything.

Absolutely fantastic zander in a beautiful tomato sauce. One of the nicest meals I had in Germany, and one of the few times I saw vegetables other than potatoes. The view from the terrace out over the harbour with the Alps in the background is...second to none. Réservez une table maintenant

Gorgeous Bavarian town on the Bodensee. Had no idea about this place and we happened to pick it out of the map on our drive back from Switzerland to Munich...
