Nancy's Air Field Café

Love Nancy and her Cafe! Food is always excellent. We've visited for brunch and lunch, ordering unique omelets or pancakes and simple burgers. There is always something special here, especially in the summer when the garden herbs or vegetables (from just outside the front door) are being used. As a bonus to the quaint atmosphere, you can watch the small planes landing or taking off. Maybe even meet a pilot or two! Plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor dining.

Wow! This was one of my first real memories of life in USA, decades ago! So happy back then. They had the best grilled cheese sandwiches! Called the grilled cheese butterfly , it had carrots/vegies, very nice presentation. I remember one day some local pilots spent the day flying people and giving certificates. I still have mine in a box somewhere. I HIGHLY Recommend! Food: 5

Sad to report that this gem has closed. A new operation, 'Fourth and Field ' will start up soon in the same location. Fingers crossed that the food and the vibe remain.

Over-priced. And they really need to do something about the wasp problem in their outside seating area. My daughter was stung.
