I popped in to Narrabeen Sands for lunch with a good friend the other day after 10kms of walking around Narrabeen Lakes. My god the place has changed since my Garage Nights getting smashed in the 90s haha. It was Good Friday for lunch and I was doing my one day of Catholicism for the year and not eating red meat. I downed the Fish and Chips, my friend, total heathen, smashed the Pulled Pork Burger and the two kids had some great selections off the kid's menu.The venue was fine, quite dark on the inside these days, sadly not fully utilising that beach brightness from all around. Friends raved about this place so I gave it a go. As a mum its great to find places where adults and kids enjoy good food, clean and safe environment with lots of fun.Directly off the beach and across the road this smallish hotel, has friendly staff and a fun vibe. Weekends there seems to be a bouncy castle outside for the kids, which always puts smiles on little faces, but check website in case its not there every weekend. The order and and collect your own food from the bar, consisted of huge portions, good priced and kept everyone happy. It's not a WOW place, but it kept everyone happy.
As an overnight guest at the hotel, dining alone, I received great prompt service at dinner and breakfast. It was cheap Tuesday so I had a huge steak, chips and salad. I was too full for the banoffee pie I then took to my room, but it was so tasty! The breakfast buffet was basic but sufficient. I elected instead to have eggs Benedict my favourite, which was good. Definitely worthwhile if you're in the area. The whole area is modern and clean and would be a great place to drink and catch up with friends, any season.
I can't believe I used to work near this hotel and never visited until last Sunday. I took my parents and all three of us now have a favourite pub lunch venue. The food was simply superb for our tastes. It was a sunny pleasant day which made the open warm decor even nicer. The food was fabulous: spicy nachos and the Sands burgers. Very good servings and tasty, perfectly cooked and presented. Can't wait to go back soon and take some more family and friends.

Stayed here recently for a weeks conference. Room was older but comfortable and kept very clean. Conference room was average but snacks and lunch were excellent.We dined in the hotel twice. It is pub bistro style dining and food is very average. Brekkie included was continental however for a $6 upgrade you could have a hot meal.
After few years having not been there as the meals wasn't nice anymore it probably have a new chef We have been going there for the last 6 months least for lunches and it always has been great! From their famous schnitzel to fish or pork belly I have no complains at all. Just think they could have more options with veggies.
Had been here before. We had the seafood sharing platter. It was terrible. The fish was cold, the squid was tasteless, the chips were greasy and the prawns were tasteless as well as full of water. The good thing was the salmon was tasty and the oysters were to even though very small. I won't be back to eat at this place.
Held a 21st last night and have to say the service was spectacular, with our every ask handled in a friendly and efficient manner - even to the point of finding a new TV when the main one broke down. In addition to this, the food was amazing!Well priced, super service and grey location - highly, highly recommended!

I had dill salmon and creamy potatoes that were excellent. One lady there who seems to be some kind of supervisor is a complete crabby face with that attitude to go along with it. The servers were all very friendly. It was pretty good for the price but not the best I had on my trip.
Bunch of alcoloic in public bar. Staff certainly don't give a crapand serve u when your leg less! Tacki and stupid place to go, not an enjoyable place at all!
