I heard a lot of positive things about Neato Burrito and figured after 4 years of living in the area it was about time I checked it out I wish I hadn't. We placed our order online (required due to COVID regulations) with the understanding it would take 25 minutes for the order to be completed. Three minutes later order was done. This was great, except I still had a 15 minute drive which means our food sat 15 minutes longer than planned. This doesn't effect my rating just an FYI for others who try to plan their online order and pickup times. If you're ever thinking about getting a burrito or burrito bowl and you're about to drive to the nearest chipotle, don't. Go to neato burrito instead. The Cajun chicken at neato burrito is seasoned well and is shredded chicken. They also have a wide array of salsas that are all tasty. It's also a local business, so I prefer to support them over chipotle any day. While it may cost a few extra bucks, I think it's worth it. Being from California, it's not the best burrito I've ever had, but I think it's definitely the best in this area! I recommend adding chips to your burrito for that extra crunch too.
Had to come here after hearing all the high praises about the cowboy crunch but simply put it wasn't anything special. The idea is great but there was so much rice and not enough chips/protein that the burrito was pretty much soggy, there wasn't much flavor to it at all. Would rather chipotle. For $9 the portion size is pretty good and I'd definitely suggest trying it at least once if you're near a location.
Who doesn't take cash. Went Friday evening around five. Did not have our debit card, but had cash. Walked in and there is a sign that says, no cash. My husband asked the girl if this was correct. She said, yes. We said, you just lost business. She could have cared less. Never said, sorry or explained why no cash. It was more like she was happy she did not have to work. SERIOUSLY!! who does not take cash??

Picture this: you visit Chipotle and end up with an overpriced burrito that has unappetizing cartilage and poorly seasoned chicken. Now, imagine Neato Burrito, where you can enjoy a hearty, flavorful burrito at a reasonable price. That's right—Chipotle can't compete with Neato Burrito! It's no wonder you're looking them up on Yelp instead of Chipotle.
This restaurant offers excellent food at a great value, and I highly recommend it over any other burrito place. The only reason I'm writing this is that their Sunday hours seem to be incorrect. It states that they close at 7 PM, but I arrived at 6 PM and found the lights off and the doors closed.
Before Covid, 5 stars. Now? Lucky to get 2. Portions are tiny now, everything is bland. Daily specials are gone. Have reached out to the company several times to inquire about daily specials returning, and they shut off social media commenting. Cool.
I've been enjoying Neato for over 10 years now, and it still impresses me, even as a vegetarian. Neato is a beloved institution in Central PA, and it absolutely deserves that status! The cowboy crunch, with or without chicken, is always a hit!
