We are French and come often with the whole family. We appreciate the typical German food and the large opening hours. Our teenagers like the schnitzel, rosti and the home pasta. The food is tasty and reflects the local gastronomy. As French you do not...feel a huge welcome. Communication, even in English is difficult. The waiters do not smile often, but they do their best to help. Bur efforts have been done and French menu was printed. Jurg is very good if you decided to order in English . The toilets are always clean and the place a globally very pleasant. We will always come back with pleasure.
Once and never again, the food was an amusement.1 Bratwurst with potato salad potatoes were at least 3 days old, have tasted terrible, and all for 11,90, salad plate with shrimps were mini shrimps for. 15 euros just incredible. Then I ordered bread, that was really hard. After my complaint I only got a smile of service, no reaction from the cook or boss. I've never seen this before, and I'm going to eat a lot. Only positive was we had a huge security distance as we were the only guests....
Loved the building outside and in. The food was good but too much for me, the server kindly offered to pack it up for me and I took the rest home. Comfortable and friendly to sit in. A small point is maybe that a lot...of the food is very substantial, fewer options for light fare, but that seems to be typical of the area.
We were looking for tasty traditional food and we found it! The restaurant is well decorated , has a nice ambiance and delicious food. We had two different rosti dishes , both were delicious. Price is cheap considering the big portions that you get. The...waitress was super nice and friendly. I can highly recommend it.

We are French and we used to stop to eat here regularly. We dit it this week after The manager changed and the place is no longer original, like it used to be. Food is not so tasty and offer is poor. Rosti were...gourgeous, it's not the same. Less people also....no need to make reservation any more.
One of three restaurants open on Christmas Eve in Bad Krozingen. Relaxed atmosphere, thanks to both guests and personel. Good quality German cuisine, with some nice suprises on the menu.
2 of 4 foods were delivered wrong, waiter was already overwhelmed with almost empty economy. At paying problems boss was not reachable for conversation. Was our last visit.
this place is pretty new and clean well organized and affordable prices children love it and parents can rest sited while keeping an eye on them
