Since changed owners and name to Ascot Fish Bar. The portion size in Chinese meals is insultingly small now. The chef seems to have changed also because they meals used to be quite delicate and well made, but are now over egged with salt and heavy flavours you find in any old poor Chinese takeaway. Now moved our custom to Langdale road where they still give you full sized meals!
Friday night is chippy night in our household, so we ordered food from Neptune Fish Bar, and I have to say it was superb, the food was fresh, the fish we ordered was the best we have had in ages from any takeaway, the kids meals with the fish strips were also of very good quality, all in all a really good evenings meals, thanks a lot to the staff.
Everything ordered absolutely spot on. Very quick delivery. I love these proper chippies where you get a choice of fish. The haddock was beautiful as were the potato scallops. Light crispy batter. Excellently cooked and arrived steaming hot. Would recommend highly!
i use this chip shop any time we have chips , the staff are always friendly and polite and the place is clean , i have eaten the kebab meat from here and it is very nice , the chips are always goos too never get re heated chips Réservez une table maintenant
1st time visit for a long while. Quick service by fresh clean staff, lovely hot crispy fish and gereous portion of chips. Piping hot too even after a 5 minute drive home. Recomended
Best fish and chips in Runcorn. Well cooked food at good prices, everwhere very clean and friendly staff. Well worth a visit, eat in or take away. It wont disappoint you
I love their fish and chips and they have a really large selection on the menu if fish is not to your liking! Try The Neptune you won't be disapointed
