This bar has become our local of sorts. Clive and his team go above and beyond to look after the patrons. Happy hour 4-7pm really does make us all happy, and the food fills the spot. Pizzas are yummy with good variety, plus the usual pub fair is available too.It can be quiet busy 5-6pm, so if you are coming in a group it may help to book. Open for lunch and dinner, and the bar serves til around midnight. Great if you are a traveller passing through while waiting for a train, or a local having a night out. Conveniently located in Southern Cross Station on Spencer Street, and across from Bourke Street, so of course it is super-easy to get public transport or a taxi when it is time to head home...
I often go out for lunch on my work break and everyone is so busy and worried about getting people in and out customer service is often pretty average. Well this wasn't the case at Network, everyone serving us at Network was so polite and lovely! 10/10 for customer service. In particular, a man behind the bar (looked like the manager), was an absolute delight, went above and beyond for us. I walked away from lunch feeling happy, purely from the service I received. The pizza was also huge and the sauce on the Hawaiian was yum!Will eat here again :)
Situated inside the Southern Cross station building this is a good place for a relatively cheap meal. There are plenty of special offers throughout the week, both on food and beer. I had pizza and my wife had pasta, both with a beer, for $15 each. The food was tasty enough and there was a good choice of beers available. Service was good too. Not a particularly glamorous setting but good value for money nonetheless.
Walked in and ordered a glass of wine. Had seen him being super friendly to others & I gave a smile & a friendly thank you - he threw the glass of bubbles at me , no thank you or pleasantries & seemed put out that he had to get change of a $20 for me. Sat outside and watched him be super friendly to other obvious regulars! Even bought out free beer tasters to next table. Never felt so unwelcome anywhere, ever!!!

Came here before the justin bieber concert, as was really surprised. Was busy and given there was an event on at etihad they didnt cancel happy hour. Was good place for all of us to meet before the concert and would recommend and meet here again.
The food is tasty, fresh and generously sized. Ordered onion rings off the 'snacks' muni and it was huge. The pulled pork burger was delicious and the vege burger was the best I've ever had. Excellent service too, worth a visit
Bar staff very friendly and happy for a quick chat while you're ordering. Food was great with no complaints. The mushroom formaggi pizza was delicious. All in all - very quick service. Great food and nice venue. Recommended.
Beaut place for cheap eats and drinks while waiting for trains. Spotless restrooms, cheerful and helpful staff, and food/drink specials most days. The last place we eat and drink every time we visit Melbourne

Great place to wait for a train, food is value, even the deals. Its great because if you get one of the deals, its no different to their regular food which is awesome. Parma is huge for $15 with a drink!
Easy place to hop in and have a nice meal and some drinks. Easy to find and to catch up with friends. You can also follow your sportsprogrammes as it is a sort of sportsbar as well.
