A brilliant view makes the visit a must. A little bit out of town but there is a walking path or a short drive. The staff were excellent, plenty of parking good beer choices. My only complaint is I was served an old (I would call it stale and dry) reheated steak pie, not fresh and not oven heated as pastry should be. If I wasn’t so hungry I would have sent it back. Heard a lot of great things about this place so we came and I’m so glad we did as we have now been a good few time’s and I’ve got something different nearly everytime because the menu is just amazing with so much to chose from, everything I’ve had has all been delicious with great portion sizes and also very reasonably priced. I also came here for the Sunday carvery which was also gorgeous, demolished every scrap. Lovely warm atmosphere and very clean. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Couldn’t recommend this place enough

I had a wonderful dining experience with impeccable service. I went with a large group of friends for a celebration, and everything was perfect. I ordered a chicken breast and king prawn dish that came with sweet potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be returning for lunch soon!

This is a wonderful restaurant with a friendly staff and delicious food. The portions are generous and everything tasted great. I came here based on a recommendation from a good friend, and I’m glad I did. Definitely deserves a 5-star rating!
