New Canton Chinese

I can honestly say this the only 5 star review (that I recall, at least) I 've ever given a restaurant. If you want good American Chinese food, this is your place. Plentiful portions, deep flavor, and plenty of options. I have lost track of how many times I 've eaten here, and I 'm totally fine with that. The owner is just about the sweetest lady you 'll ever meet, and will always go out of her way to accommodate you. A few menu suggestions: get the hot and sour soup, and ask for spicy/hot oil mix the hot oil in with your soup, and thank me later. Their Kung Pao chicken is good (however I can never get it spicy enough that 's a me issue: I 'm sure they 'd be breaking some sort of San Mateo county fire ordinance if they made it the heat level I wanted). The crab wonton and the egg rolls are great! Just the right level of crispy and just enough fried flavor. If you want Chinese food, and you 're hungry, just trust me. Come here. You 're not going to be sorry. And, if you eat here, then tell me you ARE sorry, then you can 't be my friend.

I've been coming pretty regularly for years and the food is always good and the service friendly. Favorites include Beef Chow Fun,. Singapore fried noodles, clear cooked Bok Choi. Update as of May 2022 still awesome. Please stop by and get some great food and help this small family business survive the times.

I can't find out how this place can cure such diversity and yet has such good quality. They give you a lot of food. A typical take order lasts for a few days.

Great Chinese food. Had something I had never seen before Mongolian Beef Chow Mein. Two of my favorite dishes all in one. Chef George is really good.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. I specifically go there for the Dan noodles, they are amazing.
