Fantastic restaurant! The food is outstanding—definitely try the roast! The location is perfect, conveniently situated just off the cross-Pennine route for your journey home to Scotland. We stayed nearby and had a lovely dinner here one Saturday evening, food was excellent, service was great, the staff were brilliant accommodating our requests, lovely home cooked, good quality meals and stylish yet traditional decor inside Food drinks: Great quality Service: 5 Location: 5

Food delicious, we had the Indian Burrito and the Salmon .. yummy, friendly service, we ate in the bar area as we had our dog which was fine but it was quite cold especially when the band left the doors open to bring in their gear! Lovely place Service: 4 Réservez une table maintenant

Never been, even tho we live locally. Did not dissapoint. Beautiful food. Sunday roast to die for. Massive yorkie pud! Very stylish, comfy country decor. Very friendly staff. Consider us regulars from now on!

Fantastic pub, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and nice fresh beer on tap. Very friendly staff and you can see all the effort that has been put into refurbishment. Seriously couldn't recommend more

We had a fantastic Sunday roast here today! I'm really pleased that we can easily walk to this lovely pub. Overall, I’d rate it: Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5.
