What a fantastic venue! The drink prices were reasonable, but the highlight of the evening was definitely the music. The New Dodge Lounge is the perfect neighborhood spot for live performances, great entertainment, and refreshing drinks—and it truly delivers on all counts. They feature live music on weekends, and the talented Songstress Jo did not disappoint. Her performance was inspiring, especially her standout song, "FYK." She effortlessly engaged the audience, and the energy was electric, with both her and the crowd feeding off each other. It took me nearly two hours to get there, but it was absolutely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be returning!
Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. They are very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend it for hosting parties and first dates. The music is at a pleasant volume, allowing for easy conversation with the person you're with. There's live music, open mic nights, tea parties, and a few arcade games to enjoy. Parking is available on the street or in a nearby lot. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, though access is limited to the ground floor. However, everything you need is conveniently located upstairs.
Good place good bands and I'm not a small boy am a trustworthy worthy person and I will tell you something see in the 70s this place I believe used to be a five n dine and I had an onion on my belt cuz that was the fashion at the time and they'd say give you a nickel for a quarter but at the time there weren't many like arcades around in fact I think it was a little bit later that those things came around but I don't know because I wasn't even born then but this place is a gem!
Came out to here with the new owners and had an amazing time there! Seeing the draft beer selection and having options I haven’t seen anywhere else was so great to have. The sound for the live music was top notch too. The sound guy had the music mixed so well and it sounded great. If you haven’t checked out the place or haven’t been there in a while, you definitely need to check it out! Such a nice atmosphere and had a great time and will be going back many many times! I didn't spend much time in Hamtramck, but visiting this bar was a delightful experience as we got to see our friend perform with his band. It's a cool venue, especially the upstairs area. My husband and I were feeling hungry and decided to order some sandwiches from a vendor at the bar. While the menu is quite limited, we tried a variety of different sandwiches, and they were all delicious! Overall, it's a great place.
Amazing place, totally transformed from the old dodge lounge to the new. The atmosphere is comfortable, the live music is rocking, and the drinks are well priced. It was my first time here since the new ownership and I am impressed. I will be returning for more live music events!
