I visited the cafe with my mum and my sister. We all ordered breakfast and teas and cappuccino’s. Ordering was fast and seamless, I ordered a set 1 breakfast, with the egg cooked well (over hard) and my mum and sister ordered set 2 breakfasts. The cafe was spotless, the tables were cleared off very quickly when people had left. My breakfast came out, and the egg yolk was soft, so I sent it back, and this was resolved very quickly. I was impressed with how quickly it was sorted out. The food came out again, with the egg cooked how I like it. I really enjoyed the food, my mum and sisters food was cooked well and they both enjoyed it immensely.
We decided to have lunch at this restaurant during a busy time, which was a good sign. After finding a table, we ordered our food and it arrived promptly. The food was hot, reasonably priced, and there was definitely a generous portion. The tables were clean and well-maintained, as the staff quickly cleared and wiped them down after customers left. The floor was also regularly swept. Despite being busy, the staff were all friendly and welcoming.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. After finishing our shopping, we decided to have a late lunch here. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was pretty clean. My husband had a delicious cheeseburger and I decided to try the liver and onions. The portion they brought me was huge, with plenty of chopped and nicely cooked liver, lots of onions, vegetables, and bacon. I couldn't finish it all. I highly recommend this café.
Under new management since the beginning of 2023. The Staff are super personable and welcoming. Huge choice on the menu but our visits are for breakfast. It’s great they have re introduced the toast and tea/coffee in the price of breakfast. Everything is great quality at a perfect price. Speedy service always. The place is clean. We just wouldn’t go any where else in the town centre Réservez une table maintenant
