Came in for a late lunch with my dad and husband. I ordered the eggs royale (eggs Benedict but with salmon as well), hubby ordered Turkish eggs (poached eggs with a spicy sauce, avocado and pitta bread) and dad ordered a chicken burger with chips and salad. Both the egg dishes were fantastic- runny yolk, fresh ingredients, hubby even wants the sauce bottled from his meal so he can get some for home! Dad couldn't fault the chicken burger, but the chips were the absolute highlight. They were fries not chips as such, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. He couldn't finish them! I visited new penny with my good friend today at 3pm for some dinner. Firstly I was greeted by a lovely young girl called megan who was really polite, kind and funny for our time here and really made the visit special. We ordered 2 epic burgers and can I say they certainly lived up to the name. The chef on the day who said his name was sean also came out as we gave him our complements and he was another lovely fellow to add to this great group of staff. Finally we shared some waffles which I will certainly be coming back for as they were delicious! All for a good price to. A very lovely outing where the staff absolutely made my day.
Firstly our order wasn’t taken for 15 minutes and no apology was offered. Secondly the special was ordered and a choice of accompaniment chosen. On delivery to the table said item was not served but an alternative was on the plate instead. I asked where the item chosen was and was given a very vague response and no apology. The second choice item was also unavailable and the alternative was a completely separate item never mentioned at point of order. I said if I had been informed of the lack of chosen item I would have changed my order , at which point the waitress mumbled something and left the table never to return.
The service at this restaurant was terrible, with too many staff talking in the back room or aimlessly walking around. We waited for 20 minutes before anyone took our order, and even after our food arrived, I am still waiting for some butter for my scone. There are far more welcoming and pleasant places to eat in Poulton.

One of the best cafes in the area. Almost everything is homemade especially the bakewell slices still warm from the oven. Good basic food, super friendly helpful staff and the BEST ice cream including takeaway. It can get busy but there is seating outside. It’s roomy with a disabled toilet.
Came he for an ice cream just as they were closing , karyn was super nice , still served us even though they were closing and were in the middle of clean down , great customer service from karyn and will definitely return the custard was great
Fabulous food with a daily specials board. Called in for a lunch and definitely not disappointed. Love the new decor so fresh and relaxing. Very attentive team working front and back of house. Well done we will be back.
I ordered a takeaway breakfast and it was delicious. It was ready on time, the food was hot, and really tasty. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Incredible service and delicious breakfast! The tall, bearded young man was extremely well-mannered and a wonderful example of professionalism.
Stopped here for breakfast. Restaurant was very clean and service good. Good choice for breakfast and the food was delicious. Will return.
