Pros: Authentic chinese food. Bustling. Popular fixture for decades.Cons: right on a busy el camino junction so the parking can be rather painfully hard. Service is a challenge. They tend to misplace to-go orders and lie about it. Once, they claimed they did not even get our order when they were talking to each other that someone else picked up our order. Rather dirty inside and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Parking: extremely hard to find parking and there are no paid parking options and it’s free but hard to find.
Been coming here for over 20 years.No soup today and they no longer have the dessert but we always enjoy the food.We love all the salt and pepper items, chicken wings, tofu, and fish. All of these are super good and had to get multiple orders of each for 11 people.Steamed tofu we had to order by showing a picture, we get 2 orders of this too.Was here on a weeknight so it wasn’t too busy and we were able to sit and talk for awhile.
The decor is lovely, and everything was cooked to perfection! The salt and pepper pork was freshly fried and absolutely delicious. The fish was also excellent and tasted very fresh.
I wasn't served after waiting for 10 minutes, even though the restaurant had just opened at 11 AM and there were no other customers there.
