Absolutely delicious. Some of the best pizza I had in a while. Next time I have to try the Stromboli. As a sidenote: $8?13 for a 12 pizza (depending on toppings) or $13?17 for an 18 pizza. I ordered a 12 but definitely recommend to share an 18 two-way if possible! It is more pizza and costs less per person. *Update: I come here frequently. I have to say the Stromboli is excellent. The price is perfect for a person, even if you add onions, jalepenos and additional cheese! However, it often comes somewhat cold in the middle, but I think that 's a result of extra toppings. It's not unbearable cold, and I think I'll ask if they can cook mine a little longer to see if it fixes it. The staff is phenomenal friendly.
Didn't seem as well run as in past visits. Dated, very warm in the building with fans, not comfortable on a 95° day. Subs are not their specialty. Tough hogie roll, very light on ingredients and I asked for extra, and there was barely any lettuce, for which I asked for extra extra, had tomatoes, which I didn't request. . Fountain drink was heavy on the syrup, not much carbonation...No place to empty your cup and try another flavor..I'll stick to pizza next visit, if this place has lost it's mojo, then I'll not return...hope they get it together, was a favorite pizza
This place has the mood of a mother and pop shop from the Boroughs. The participants accommodated us in our pizza needs and were friendly. The pizza was so good and without this New York price: Sopranos sub. The various deli meats balanced from salad, tomatoes, mixed with their own NYPD dressing is a phenomenal sandwich. NY-style pizza. It brings me back to NYC. Yum, Calzone. It's a good dish that can hit Calzone's spot if you hang for it.
I have a pizza from this place based on all the positive reviews on Google. Well, I just have to say that the fix is in, the pizza was terrible and not very tasteful. Make yourself a favor and just skip this place, I ate a slice of a big sausage pizza and trashed the rest.
