I went here with my partner to eat breakfast and it certainly was an exellent choice. They have several types of breakfast you can chose. We chose the "News Breakfast" with an espresso, which is free when you have breakfast (or other types of coffee). We were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. We got a platter with delicious cheese, cured ham, salami, cherry tommatoes and other yummy good quality things. The croissant and bread was warm and delicious. We also got some yoghurt with freshly cut fruit and fresh orange juice. The coffee is good as well. This place has quality food and good value for money (we payed 19 euros for two breakfasts). The staff were friendly and we got our food...

We went to this place because it was a cool looking cocktail bar where you could smoke.(They also have a non-smoking section). I liked the design and the atmosphere. The drinks were terrible. I work part time as a bar tender and I tell you if you tried to sell a cosmo like that in New York the guests would run away. The Sex on the Beach was drinkable. The server was disinterested and did not ask me how are my drinks. She saw I did not drink it.I told her to take the cosmo of the bill and she did. So if you planning on drinking beer or coffee I guess it is ok but the Cocktails suck and are relatively expensive. The waiter told me that the Cocktails come from a machine. Hmmm.

After having done the check in at the hostel, we were told that for a quick and tasty breakfast we should try News Cafe. And boy, they were not wrong. We had a big omlette with ham and cheese, a big sandwich and 2 coffees that kept us going for almost an entire day.Even though we stayed in the smoking area, we were not bothered by the cigarettes and we could observe the daily Austrian routine: newspapers, coffee and a piece of cake.I recommend this place before starting the day.

Came here as it was in the neighbourhood of where I was staying near Westbahnhof. You can get a fairly generous breakfast and a hot drink for under 10 Euro and its open Sunday morning which is good. Just found it pretty average though. Nothing terrible. Asked for milk twice with me tea, didn't get it either time. Middle-of the road place for breakfast.
