This placed has great advertisement and reviews. The chef?s name behind it had appeared on national tv. Menu resembles high end restaurants and the prices to match. Unfortunately the place does not live up to the expectation they build. Our pork bellyappetizer was a crawfish appetizer. The staff never came with a wine chiller. Our waitress told us that she will be so busy thatyou have to flag her down in case she was absent. To her credit, she did come around and ask if the food was ok often. Thestakes were ok. Absolutely amazing!!! This was our first time at Newton at The Cellar and words alone can not express how wonderful everything was. The experience we had here was top notch, the staff was friendly and very helpful when explaining the menu options andspecials. The drinks were spot on with many options to chose from cocktails to wine but the food was by far the best part! Mywife got the smoked chicken and I got the chicken fried NY strip. The chef himself come out to make sure everyone in therestaurant was well taken care and we couldn't of had a better experience at Newton's. If you haven't tried it then you should..Most definitely coming back!

A 5 star restaurant comes to our 3 horse town of Stephenville !! Mike and his well trained staff consistently turn out stellar dishes that you'd otherwise have to go to big city to find. An enthusiastic, lively bartending team atmosphere keeps thecheer flowing in an inviting relaxed setting, while the kitchen crew meticulously handles Chef Newton's unique appetizer dinner specials his well perfected menu mainstays. An absolute treat in every sense you're treated like family at Newton'sand you'll find yourself returning, time after time, as it just keeps getting better as you become part of the Newton'sSaddlerack Family!!

The steak was rare when we ordered medium. The carrot side was a large carrot on a plate. My fish was not cooked enough. The bread pudding was large chunks of bread in a bowl. The cook needs some more experience on fine dining. The service staff wasgreat. The drinks were great. Food was very disappointing.

We were looking for a new go-to for date night and OH, MY GOODNESS, this restaurant did not disappoint! Fabulous experience. We don't get them often, but I can't wait for our next date night. This made them even sweeter. ??
