I work very close to this business at a local hospital so my co-workers and I frequent this business a lot. I am not sure what happened but this year has been a let down with quality and service. 2 weeks ago I called to order my favorite salad (Bird of Paradise) and was told they did not have chicken for the salad. Oh well. I ended up not ordering anything that day. This past Friday I stopped in at 11am to place an order on my lunch break. It was busy but not crazy. I went to order my Bird of Paradise Salad and was told they did not have any salad mix. WTH? Now caught off guard I had to scramble and find something else to order being this was going to be my lunch and I was placing an order f...
First, this is a ok place to eat, albeit on the pricey side. However it is unbearably slow on a non-busy day. Today I stopped in to grab a sandwich. 2 people ahead of me. I order my sandwich and a drink $18) and was told “was have a big order and are a bit backed up so it will be a little bit”. “A little bit” for a sandwich in my opinion is 10, 15… maybe 20 min. 4 people making sandwiches and one working the register and making drinks, how long could it be? I had an appointment, but some time to spare. 15 min rolled by, then 20, then 30, then 40… at 45 min I asked if they had started my sandwich and was told “no, we had a big order that is swamping us”. I had to leave, was late to my appoint...
We had ordered takeout for our shop. I called ahead and placed the order , the person who answered the phone sounded peeved , I assumed he was busy and didn't want to be bothered. I ordered the Grinch; the roast beef was gray , fatty and tasted off. They had no bagels when we inquired if we could get our bagel sandwiches on bread , he said sure but instead of asking if we wanted to do that . It was a bad day for this business. We will not go again.
This is a marvelous place to eat lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is helpful. I was visiting with a disabled friend, and it is very user friendly. No one rushed her or seemed bothered by her need to respond with some confusion. I was very impressed, not only with the food, but also the employees. We will definitely return!
