For our main courses, we ordered the Smoked Trout Salad and Nick's Famous Crab Sandwich. The Trout Salad was light and refreshing, with the fish cooked just right—not overly smoky. The Crab Sandwich was generous enough to serve two, filled with delicious crab, and the bread was nicely toasted and not overwhelming. The only downside was that it could have used a binder to hold the crab to the bread, making it a bit dry.
For dessert, we tried the Spiced Pumpkin Cobbler, which was incredibly tasty with great flavors—just the right amount of spice and it melted in your mouth. The ice cream paired beautifully with it.

I had a party here with friends, i had it reserved way early like a month before, n kept on reminding them as the event got closer. When we got there earlier than the reservation time, the table wasnt set up fully yet, it was not even enough, lacking 2 more tables, i kept on reminding the hosts, but they seemed unprepared. Ok, im done with that, my next review is the size of their wine glass that made me so upset. Other ppl wont feel this, but gosh, this is a primerib/steak place, they should have a bigger decent size of a wine glass that we typically see in other restaurants and not this. We just hosted a baby shower in Nick's private room yesterday and it was a super experience from the very beginning. Coordinator Kelly always super friendly, positive and helpful. Servers Laurie and Jessica were outstanding. I can't say enough about their service, they were beyond helpful, fast and responsive! The food was excellent!! I heard from several attendees that they loved the food. The space is large, lots of tables to put all our items, wine cost reasonable, room fee reasonable, no cake cutting charge. Really nice spot to stop by and have lunch! Parking lot is pretty good but it is shared with the inn next door. Nice view of the beach/ocean as well. Food was really delicious. I really liked the clam chowder and wished I got a bowl instead. It's a shame they don't have bread bowls though. Crab cakes didn't impress me so I would pass. Fish and chips were really good. Nice and crispy. Seafood pasta was good and really really creamy. The amount of seafood added in is nice. Service was great and the server was nice to give us another beer. I totally recommend Nicks Seashore Restaurant! They have the best food ever! The staff went above and beyond to put on my wedding reception party!!! The event staff omg I couldn't have asked for anything better! They checked on us to make sure everything was going okay and according to plan!!! I couldn't have asked for better service!!! Thanks again!!! And to the house band thank you for providing a first dance for us! Rockaway beach is just outside this restaurant and then even have the Seabreeze motel next door! Love this!
Craving for mussels paved the way to drop by here. We ordered shells (Rockefeller and mussels soup). Fish tacos and crab sandwiches. Mussels are okay- it is better with ginger @15pieces. Oysters are okay as well but need to work on the sauce mix on top. Fish taco's were fine too, overflowing with stuff that you need to eat a bit before you can hold it. The crab sandwich here is more filled than the England Lobster though the bread is a bit hard. Ambiance is great as it is overlooking the Rockaway Beach.
The food was fantastic, and most of the staff were quite friendly. However, one server, Jasmine, was exceptionally rude and unprofessional. Her behavior nearly spoiled our dinner, but we chose to find humor in the situation instead. She was truly awful! So, while I give 5 stars for the food, Jasmine deserves a solid 0 stars.
While I do love this place, a to-go order of a open faced crab sammie with American Cheese and Avocado did have me cringing at $48. Service is always awesome have it be take out or to go. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember, and I'll still come back but maybe deter from that crab sammie!

Everything was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and the hostesses were wonderful. The service was excellent, and the view was stunning. We had a late lunch and returned later for the live music. I can’t wait to go back!
We have been eating at Nicks for 30 years! We never had a problem or bad meal there. The Crab sandwich is the best in town! The views spectacular! The staff is very attentive and professional. Well worth trying!
