The food is not authentic at all. I’m new to Chicago area and wanted to try some good Chinese cuisine and was told to check out Nicky’s. The WORSE service and Chinese food in town! I’ve been a regular here for 20years or more, but not anymore! I ordered the vegetable soup, which clearly says on the menu it includes noodles. I get my order via delivery, with no noodles in soup. I called back to complain about this. Alex, whom took my order, answered the phone. He tries to convince me, that’s how it’s made. I decided to order egg foo young and orange chicken lunch special because they always seem to crowded when i pass by, so of course the food has to be good right, WRONG! I requested no MSG. Apparently they added extra SALT to makeup for the MSG, to a point that i could only eat only 1/4 of the portion, and the chicken was low quality. I don't understand the crowd, must be Location conveniency
The worst Chinese food I've ever had. The rice they used for the jumbo shrimp fried rice was more than a day old. No flavor what so ever. I added vegetables and they gave me a bunch of green bell peppers. The shrimp lobster sauce had no flavor. Totally disappointed. Never again will I order from Nicky's No love or care went into their cooking.

I have cut back on ordering from this restaurant because the quality has declined significantly. This used to be one of my favorite places, but the food I received yesterday was absolutely terrible! I've given them too many chances, and I will not be ordering from them again.
I specifically asked for the thick noodles (because the name varies by restaurants like lo mein, rice noodles, etc. . This is what I got. Thin noodles. And it tastes worse than it looks. Waste of money.
I ordered here a while back. I don’t have photos because i threw all the food away. Food is made for people without taste buds. Do not eat from here. The food is terrible.
It seems to depend on who prepared your meal. Unfortunately, it wasn't great this time.
