Half an hour later, our server returned empty-handed, without any drinks, and explained that the computer system was completely down and the kitchen was experiencing problems, so they needed to close our tab. After sitting there for an hour and a half with little communication and no food, we were quite disappointed and hoped they would at least comp the guacamole. Unfortunately, the server said he couldn’t assist with that.
Overall, I was very dissatisfied with this experience, as the service left much to be desired. While I would like to give it another try in the future, I can only rate it one star for now.
Nico’s is our favorite neighborhood spot! An amazing margarita menu, warm fresh tortilla chips, awesome array of house-made salsas, great desserts (especially love the tres leches), some of the biggest best quesadillas I’ve ever had (try ordering one with the mixed mushrooms, it’s UNBELIEVABLY umami), and friendly staff plus a truly lovely outdoor patio where dogs are welcome?!? Oh and very reasonable prices, too? What’s not to love?? We’ve brought visiting relatives to Nico’s a couple of times and EVERYONE has left more than satisfied!
This place is PERFECT!!! Perfect location, vibe, and amazing tacos. We didn’t have a margarita but we wished we had when we found out it was all made with real ingredients versus margarita mix. The hot sauces were so unique and not too spicy but not too light. I can’t wait to come back!!!!! The biggest reason is the atmosphere both inside and out. That area has become my favorite cute market spots.

Great evening on the patio! This place is a hidden gem. All the salsa is bomb. Everything made fresh to order. Kids friendly. Drinks are good. No complaints at all. Will be back!Kid-friendliness: Eating outside was great ?

Came back from Mexico and didn't want my vacation to end so we went to Nico's! Atmosphere was cool and food was delicious. Can't wait to go back in the warmer weather.Food: 5/5
