Have been here many times over the years. Great food always however our latest visit will be our last. Absolutely no welcome or polite conversation. Food delivered to table without a word said. No please or thank you and owner constantly sniffing as he delivered our food. It may have been acceptable 10 of 15 years ago for Chinese restaurant owners to be rude to their customers if the food was good but it’s not acceptable in 2020. Simple and straightforward. Extensive Chinese Thai menus. Has a regular local clientele, but never seems overly busy. We usually find a table with no problem, and the service is quick and accurate. Food good; hot and freshly cooked. We've never been disappointed. There's a public car park at the bottom of the hill, behind the steakhouse. Only a short drive from Harpenden, Luton, WGC; this place deserves to be more widely known and more popular.
Ordered a delivered takeaway despite being a bit dubious due to some recent reviews. I've got to say we were very pleasantly surprised with the experience. Delivered quickly, well cooked, good portions and all very nice. This was a set meal for two and we couldn't fault it. We are still snacking on the free giant sized prawn crackers! Will definitely be trying again in the future.
Used to regularly order from Nihao, new owners in it’s gone right down hill. We’ve tried several times but no more. Orders are very rarely right, always missing items ordered. The food quality is awful, rude arrogant staff that think it’s ok to hang up the phone stangely they think it’s ok to rank up their prices. Do yourself a favour avoid the place.

We used to love this restaurant, used to be the best Chinese around, not anymore, it’s either got a new chef or new owners, whichever it is, the food is very disappointing now, the quality was awful, definitely won’t be going back in a hurry, such a shame.
Brilliant take out, always consistent, always hot, great friendly service and of course excellent food. So glad Nihao is back after 11 weeks closes during lockdown.
We normally order our food from Oriental in Harpenden but I’m glad we ordered with Nihao…the food was fantastic, and not covered in grease. Will order again!
WOW! Amazing food and service. One of the best places to get Mapo tofu in the region. The duck is also truly amazing. I will be going back often.

Ordered Chinese for a second night in a row and the food was excellent. It’s easily the best Chinese takeaway within a few miles.
Very good food and friendly staff. Also the takeaway menu is great and always the extra fortune cookies are supplied
