Nikai Sushi - Cheeca Lodge & Spa

Terrible meal, the “special” of the night were two types of dumplings, pork and prawn. Both arrived still frozen in the middle and after returning them 3 times they finally arrived lukewarm and we stopped trying. A glass of ice I asked 3 separate times and never received it. The sashimi I ordered was a white fish with jalapeño peppers, fish had zero taste and jalapeño peppers had no spice so this dish wasn’t eaten. The salmon sashimi was so so at best. We had a couple of sushi rolls that were average at the very best. The waitress tried to explain that the dumplings couldn’t be served too hot, as they might fall apart, a new one on me. 2 other tables around us were also sending their night’s special dumplings back as being frozen. At these prices they need to try to make the food really nice but fell totally flat. Give a big miss

Possibly my favourite Italian restaurant in london. Fantastic service and fantastic food. Can't say enough good things about the place and the atmosphere.
