My daughter and I decided to try this place because I needed a caffeine fix and we were in need of some refreshment. We ordered frozen and iced coffees as well as carrot cake, which were all excellent. However, we were surprised to find that there was no food or drinks available for the outside seating area. Additionally, we were served our food and drinks in glassware, but were not given instructions on what to do with them once we finished (we ended up busing our own table). Overall, the drinks were great, the cake was good, but we found the price of approximately $25 to be a bit high considering the average size of the drinks and the requirement to eat inside and bus our own table. The restaurant has two locations with ample seating, making it a popular spot for those looking to study. The service is quick, with orders taken at the counter and a fast-moving line. However, the menu does not mention that certain dishes are spicy, which was a disappointment as both times I ordered breakfast plates they were overly spicy. The cappuccino also lacked flavor, but the iced chai tea was a standout. Perhaps the desserts are better. Despite some shortcomings, it is still worth a try.
The pour-over coffee at KABEYWA was delicious and the atmosphere was clean and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I will definitely be returning. However, when I visited on November 20, 2020, I was shocked by the decrease in quality. I used to recommend this place to my coffee-loving friends, as they sourced their beans from Counter Culture Coffee, but this time I was disappointed. My latte was served in a cracked cup and the milk was not steamed properly, tasting like water. There was also no latte art at all.

They add a surcharge to credit cards without telling you. This is definitely not the fault of the workers, just poor leadership. Quality coffee and food, easily the best coffee in town. Pay cash to avoid getting charged an extra dollar. Baked goods are pretty solid but occasionally stale. I would recommend Proof down the street for super fresh pastries. The coffee was fantastic! The food was fantastic! My only negative was the time it took to get the food. We had drank all of our coffee by then. 2 in our party got the breakfast burrito. And, the other 2 got bacon, eggs, toast, and hash browns. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast
