Finally made it here after a long time wanting to come. This place is so easy to miss when you're driving or even walking so thank god for Yelp these holes in the wall are found. I also found an article on the Miami New Times about the owner and Chef and was surprised that this is Spanish food, Catalán to be specific but more of a playful take on it, says the article.I came here to try the infamous Today's Rice dish which is Chef inspired and therefore changes daily.Today's it was made with clams and it did not disappoint at all. The dish is basically a rice with the delicious broth and whatever seafood protein they add that day. Rice is cooked perfectly, with kind of a risotto consistency an...

NIU Kitchen in Downtown Miami is a hidden gem that offers a charming and romantic escape for a special celebration. This small restaurant may not boast extreme fanciness, but it more than makes up for it with its Spanish-seafood influenced cuisine and exceptional wine selection. The knowledgeable staff adds to the overall experience and is well-versed in guiding guests through the menu and wine offerings. We had the pleasure of sharing several dishes, each of which left a lasting impression. The Pa Amb Tomáque, a delightful combination of tomato, garlic, and bread, was an incredible appetizer that set the tone for the meal. The artichoke with Jamon Iberico showcased the perfect harmony of fla...

Cool Spanish restaurant in downtown Miami The area is up and coming, but this spot shines among the rest.Food was good, but as a spaniard, would rate them only 4 stars (I have very high standards). The pan seared foi gras was deliciousThe arroz sec was very tasty and def worth orderingThe caneloni au gratin were ok (I think they could be better if they used other filling that is not chicken) This is prob why I gave them a 4 starsThey didn’t have the Ous (poached eggs) which looked deliciousWorth trying if you are looking for a cool spot in the area

The server said we have to sit outdoor while there are tons of tables all open indoor. In the end we sat indoor, the server said we have to leave within 50 min because of reservations after. One hour later, there are EIGHT tables still empty inside. Very rude service and also very mediocre food. Potato almost tasted like there’s tequila in it. Paella is undercooked and sausage is not good.
