I recently visited N.lee Bakery Cafe, a charming family-run spot, and was greeted by a very friendly team. The cafe is popular with many corporate workers from the CBD, so the lines and wait times can be quite long—I waited about 10 minutes for my banh mi and pie, which was reasonable. Living nearby and seeing the high ratings, I wanted to try their offerings. The excellent service clearly justifies their 5-star reputation, and it’s great to support a family business. However, I found the food itself to be fairly average. The steak pie filling was mushy and didn’t taste very fresh.
