what a great idea for our family to decide that our usual pre-Christmas dinner this year would be too much for me, now we have different family requirements. please, that I couldn't let my proud no thanks! we had an enormous evening with NO complaints, even drums. to achieve this with us from years to years, and including vegetarian, coeliac, vegan . . . and picky '. was nothing short of amazing. the menus were very attractive with something there for all, recognizable ingredients, nothing terrifying for the picker', but presented with imagination. most of the choices we all feel that we have spoken with a good degree of autority! the management and the staff were very friendly and knowledge...
my first visit in nr. 5 and it will not be the last. the crab cakes were delicious. beautifully presented cajun huhn caesar, loved the addition of berries. and stick toffee mm mmmmm pudding. my partner had the burger who was also very delicious, great chips. we ate from the market menu, 3 courses for £23,95 but now we know that the quality is excellent, we would be happy plump for the regular menu also my eye is on the lobster thermidor and the duck!
we had a 60th birthday meal here, the owner ian was so wonderful to get our party as he already had 2 big parties, but he went out of his way to us in each one in our party were impressed by the kind professional service of all the coworkers we all ordered was different, but all agreed excellent the quantities on the teller were generous, but perfect eating was extremely delicious and very fast to use
we were there last night to celebrate my parents golden anniversary. the eating was excellent and the staff was friendly, hard working and attentive and made additional efforts to make the evening special for us. the food was well presented and the portions were illuminated by a decent size and the quality and taste. the price was very reasonable and I would definitely recommend. we're coming back.
