As a truck driver who visits Houston every week, I can’t recommend this little restaurant highly enough. When you walk in, it feels a bit like school—you grab a tray, and the friendly staff will take your order. Trust me, you’re in for a treat because everything is absolutely delicious. The owner has a way of making you smile and laugh while preparing the incredible meats. Then there’s the wonderful lady who takes care of the baked potatoes; her warmth and humor are as comforting as her smile. I’ve loved this place since discovering it many years ago. As a trucker, I try to get there when I can usually at least a couple of times a year. The brisket is always tender, firm, and tasty, with no trace of fat. Today the brisket was very loose, and with a good bit of fat. It was so soft, you could probably just swallow it without chewing. Maybe some people like it this way, but I don’t. I’ll probably be back, but if it’s like that again, I’ll stop coming.

Wow!!! This place is a true gem amid the sea of overpriced and overhyped BBQ. I used to come here in the 90s and loved it back then, and I absolutely adore it now. I wish I could share a plate with everyone, but you'll have to treat yourself and get some brisket—YOU'LL LOVE IT! Just savor the experience! You'll definitely be thanking me later! 1st time going there I got the sausage and brisket a pound of each and a chopped beef sandwich the food was cut quickly and the. Brisket was very lean and everything was tender and tasted good. The place is something I will return to. I just wish barbecue hadn't gotten so expensive I would eat more.Food: 4/5 Réservez une table maintenant

Small local BBQ joint, like most places like this in Texas and south it is fresh, homemade and damn good. I had chicken, ribs and brisket of salad and beans great things, fair price and the young man who led the place made me really welcome.

In my opinion, this is my go-to spot for BBQ in Pasadena, TX. It's been delicious for years! The staff is fantastic, making it a great place to enjoy some good old-fashioned BBQ.

Amazing sauce!!! Every bite was so tender, definitely try the sausage and pulled pork. I can't wait to put this sauce on everything when I get home!
