A hidden treasure! A great place for lunch with friends or a dinner date. This place transports you into a European market instantly. I feel so happy and like I’m on vacation every time I step foot inside. The food is phenomenal, it’s delicate and light. The sangria is really so delicious, not too sweet. The olive oil and bread is dangerously delicious. My go-to picks are the pulpo a la vinegreta, tortilla, and ensalada española and the churros. Cod croquettes were not good...fishy and mushy consistency inside. I wish they did a thicker cut of steak, but it had nice flavor. The Spanish tortilla looked lovely but tasted bland...not enough salt. The paella had some good flavor but again, it was too bland...needs more salt and seasoning. Good sangria. The flan itself was not sweet, but the syrup it was in was sweet. The almond tart was very nice. This place is lovely but in my opinion, the seasoning and flavors were a bit off for me. I looooove this place!! The food is excellent and so authentic. The service is always very good and you can purchase Spanish imported goodies from their little market. I can’t say enough about this place. Definitely one of my faves on Long Island.
