Visited on Saturday, 07/09/22 for the first time on an extremely, hot summer day. Beware this place is very small so it was crowded when we were ordering/waiting for our drinks and ice cream. Not a lot of seating areas as well but there are some tables and chairs outside. We had no choice but to sit outside and enjoy our drinks ice cream while surviving the heat. I got the brown sugar boba ice cream and it was sooo delicious! The boba is so soft and chewy, the perfect sweetness because the ice cream itself isn't too sweet so the dessert as a whole was not too overpowering. The bottom was filled with captain crunch and the brown sugar from the boba drips to the bottom. It was such a different ice cream from what I usually have and I must say I loved it! I also got a brown sugar milk tea with boba. It had such a wonderful and light flavor. It didn't taste overly sweet and the boba again was soft, chewy, and just sweet enough. As for the service, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even though I arrived near closing time. They took the time to explain the various menu items, which differ from what you might find at a typical ice/drink shop, and were quick to go over the options I had for customizing my drinks. Now, onto the food: the boba itself was delicious, and I would gladly return just for the exceptional taste of their teas and the quality of the boba. What a great local find, yummy dessert place in the Albertsons plaza. A few tables were available inside and a few outside. Quite a lot of people on the weekends, may recommend a weekday for shorter wait time. Awesome selection and customization so whether you want ice cream, waffle cone, egg puff, or a drink. We tried the popular ninja ice cream with egg puff and boba inside. 9/10 ice cream was delicious, creamy and not too sweet. Just wished there was more of it. Egg puff was nice and warm, boba texture was okay too! Expect to wait a bit for the egg puff... Overall will be back to try other variations, just expect to pay a pretty penny.
We tried the dalgona brown sugar coffee with boba and the brown sugar bomb, both of which were delicious! The dalgona brown sugar coffee had a robust coffee flavor perfectly balanced by the sweet brown sugar sauce and creamy milk. The brown sugar bomb was amazing; its soft texture offered a delightful resistance and was topped with just the right amount of brown sugar sauce and boba. Plus, there were crispy rice flakes added for an unexpected crunchy texture, and the boba was cooked to perfection! This place is definitely a must-visit. We can't wait to return and try more items from their menu!
I had my first experience at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it wasn't very positive. The service was unfriendly, which really diminished the overall experience. The food had a mild, flavorful aroma, but it just wasn't enough to make me want to return. It’s disappointing because it felt like the staff didn’t want to be there. The decor was unique—this is the only positive aspect I can mention.
Amazing ice cream and bubble waffles make this a great destination. I actually enjoy their bubble waffles more than Happy Lemon. My family did have issues with the ice cream melting quickly, so consider a cup instead of a cone. The staff here are helpful and the seating makes it worth a stay.
