I have eaten at Nogga several times. It is located at the epicentre of Carlisle St, being one of many restaurants along both sides of this eclectic street.Nogga is a Kosher restaurant. There is a wide choice of food available - fish, pasta and more. They offer some very nice salmon dishes and the pasta serves are generally large, but somewhat too 'saucy.' The cakes look good. I have not tried them but my family members seem to enjoy them.Service can improve, sometimes meals are prompt, sometimes slow, but the staff are helpful.I have not been for a couple of months, but I will go again.

Nogga has redecorated and the effect is a natural, woody finished environment, slightly underlit but intimate. The food doesn't live up to the decor. It's standard pasta, salads, soups and salmon dishes. It's tasty, it's filling, but it's nothing special. It's the sort of food you could manage to get together at home within 30 minutes. On the other hand, the place is clean, the service is good and the coffee is good. It's a place to go when you don't feel like cooking and want something healthier than takeaway.

Soooo disappointed. Bought one tuna & avocado roll and it was easily the most expensive hand roll I have ever had ($3.50!) & the worst! It was:-bone dry-rice under cooked -avocado brown & just plain terrible. I was starving & this was a major disappointment. There is so much good Japanese on Chapel Street so I definitely won't be back. Go to Rolls they are the best but sadly closed on Sundays so I tried this place.

Slow service and sushi is tasteless. Try not ordering anything that ain't already made up otherwise expect a LENGTHY DELAY! To also forget the basics of soy sauce and ginger is unacceptable also. A place I won't return too. Thumbs down. Réservez une table maintenant

Fantastic food and specialist Japanese on Monday & Tuesday nights. Friendly staff guide you through a wide variety of items all at $7 each. Tuna Tataki and the eggplant are my favourites

My wife and I were staying in Danville on our tour of the Bourbon Trail, and found this gem for dinner one night.
