Noi Lucky - Réservation de table

I traveled a long distance to visit this restaurant based on a recommendation, especially for their ox tongue dish. The food was delicious. However, despite making a reservation in advance, there was only one waitress on duty when we arrived and she did not immediately notice us waiting at the door. After seating ourselves, it took 15 minutes for her to bring us menus, despite us reminding her multiple times. Once she finally came over, she was polite. The restaurant was not fully booked, so having more staff would have improved the overall experience, especially since the food was so good. Hopefully, this was just a one-time occurrence due to someone being sick.

another hidden gem in springvale. directly at the rear parking lot on St. johns ave it can be a bit hard to find, but the hunting is worth it. we had to share the tum taad papaya salad platter. they can either som tum thai or...Lao we went the Thai version. the meal was very traditional and reminded me of something we had in thailand in a family-run restaurant on a remote beach. I appreciate the fact that they do not cook on the western “idee” of Thai cuisine, but rather cook on tradition. the meal we had was very spicy and very tasty. service was great. I'd eat here in a way.

Recommended dish Kung Sai Nam Pla! I’ve been looking for this dish everywhere in Melbourne and the suburbs ever since I came here, since my partner liked it so much when I took him to a restaurant in Bangkok, I began to think they can’t really sell raw prawn dish here... then found at this place!!! So good, very tasty, real authentic Thai taste. Somtum was the best as well, the price was reasonable and the portion can be for 2 3 per dish. I recommend anyone in the area if you want to have good Thai food, this is the place. Cash only btw

We came into Noi Lucky as it was one of the first times I have ever seen a Laos restaurant in Melbourne and seeing they had Nam Khao on the menu Crispy rice salad) I was SOLD! The crispy rice salad was really good but not as good as home . The sour pork skin was a little too thick and the amount of peanuts was too much for my liking. <br/ <br/ We also got a sour soup, this was delicious and went down nicely with the rice Réservez une table maintenant

This is authentic Thai/Lao cuisine. I grew up eating Thai food (mum is Thai). I have tried many Thai/Lao restaurants since I moved to the Melbourne area and Noi Lucky is by far the best. So much so, that I travel over 40 minutes to eat here at least once a month.

Why have I never been here before? This is a Thai and Laos Restaurant and for the first time in melbourne I was able to try Lao flavours with the addition of bamboo sticky rice. The flavours in the dish were so vibrant with a good chilli hit.

My family and I really like this place and when we crave Thai/ Laos food this is always our first option. We often get a lot of dishes and share. We really like the nam Khao, green curry and pad Thai. Highly recommend
