My husband and I had a rare nights without the kids, and we both love sushi, so we decided to try Noku. We figured it was worth a shot because it gets generally good reviews and people seem to love it. We got there and it was smaller than I imagined it would be. But that didn 't turn out to be a problem. Intimate but also spacious. It worked. We had to wait about 15 minutes (got there at 7:15 on a Thursday of a holiday weekend) but that wasn 't too bad. Our waitress was very attentive and bubbly. We both decided to get the same thing, the spicy roll platter which comes with Miso and Salad. The service provided was exceptional, with prompt delivery of the ordered cuisine. The sushi was particularly noteworthy, being both fresh and delectable. The service from the server, Ramon, was satisfactory, though not outstanding. The establishment's ambiance was delightful, with a pleasant atmosphere and optimal acoustics, even at capacity. The background music was carefully selected, contributing to a lovely experience. This restaurant in Leesburg is excellent in every way, from the service provided by our waiter Paulo to the delicious food. The Kenny roll was a standout dish, and we couldn't resist digging in as soon as it arrived. While they don't serve Sapporo, it doesn't detract from the overall experience. This place is definitely one of the best in Leesburg, alongside Kobe's. We will definitely be checking out Red Sushi next. A big thank you to Noku and our server Paolo for a fantastic dining experience.
Great service and staff! Really great variety of food to choose from. 4 Stars because I have had better Hibachi for the same price and I have to say that the Yum Yum sauce is not that good compared to other Hibachi places. Too mayonnaise tasting. My husband and I both got the Hibachi Steak,shrimp and chicken with fried rice. The fried rice is really bomb and so are the hibachi shrimp. I definitely would recommend this place and I would go here again to try the ramen andsushi. Réservez une table maintenant
Tonkatsu ramen lunch. Soup was rather bland. A good spoonful of hot sauce improved. Small salad came with a peanut dressing, a lot of peanut dressing. Pretty much swimming in peanut dressing. Ice tea but no artificial sweetner. I asked. Only sugar. This review is based on one visit having the ramen. My standard for which to compare ramen is Jinya. The sushi at the next table looked good. The sushi is fresh and the kitchen follows food allergy restrictions without charging you for omitting ingredients. Food was really good! I did not arrive during a busy period; so, I received my order very quickly. Customer service was excellent. Very friendly! Small place but cozy.
