I am from Melbourne and I have to say that I absolutely loved my experience at NOLA Adelaide. The vibe and ambiance of the restaurant are cool, relaxed, welcoming, and unpretentious. The decor is subtle and not overly trying hard, unlike some Melbourne restaurants that try too hard to be different. The drinks menu is extensive, especially if you enjoy Whisky. Nola is a consistently great place to go. The staff are always awesome and they always have something new on their menu. They also encourage you to try new things which I like. Excellent beer selection with a huge whiskey menu. Small wine list. The menu is excellent everything looks appetising. The fried chicken is a must have. Great stuff coming out of a tiny kitchen.
