We had been to this restaurant in the past, but for whatever reason, this past weekend, it was the worst service ever. Our reservations was at 5:45. We had a 7:30pm theatre show near by. We sat down and ordered our drinks. We received those drinks at 6:20pm. We put in our dinner order shortly there after, and received that at 7:10pm. Just in time for us to ask for a box, as we had to leave and get to the show--which we had told them up front. They thought we had ordered more drinks and came to us with another round, yet we hadn't, so they took them back. They never once apologized, nor took anything off the bill to compensate. Mother 's day brunch, food wasn 't the same as what was listed online. I liked that it wasn 't traditional pancakes and eggs, but the food was pretty random. Supposed to be international , and they did have some various dishes, but the spaghetti-and-meatball and the chicken alfredo were a bit boring. For dessert there was a table of store-bought cookies. Yep, store-bought... Service was jumbled and slow, but they were all very nice. Overall food tasted pretty good, menu was at least somewhat interesting, people were nice, and ambiance was good in this small restaurant. Worth trying if you 're looking for something different.
The items and variety on the menu were excellent. Our biggest issue was the amount of time it took to get our salads, and then our main course. It was not as if we were in a big hurry, but 15 to 20 minutes to get the salad course seemed too long. The main courses then came out somewhat staged, with 2-3 minutes between each order. The server them did try to Carmen said by bringing an extra glass of wine, which turned out to be from a bottle that had been opened too long. The restaurant was not that busy, so it is difficult to understand why the service took so long.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that adds so much to the community and takes such pride and personal interest in your experience. The food is fresh, local, and subtle. The atmosphere and mission of the restaurant makes dining there a beautiful experience. Service was slow but the workers are sincere and lovely hosts, and the environment is design for a slow, enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to go back.

Great experience, know before you go that it’s meant to be a non-rush relaxing dining experience...don’t expect to get in and out of there quickly...just what me and my wife were looking for on our date night...loved it!
We thoroughly enjoyed NOLA. The staff was helpful and were willing share about the location and how they do things. Food was delicious.
Food was great, service was a bit slow but will go back. HArd to find as the signage is not good. Worth the time to go here
This place is a hidden treasure. A true gem! Definitely worth the drive to quiet Osseo.
