Nolo Bistro - Réserver une table

We reserved my mother's birthday, came in and sat right away! This should be a gift, but I have proven again and again (from other restaurants, although) that this is something you don't take for granted. So we're already a great start. Albeit, this could have been helped by the fact that we came in a time when the restaurant was all but dead. We had the restaurant almost completely for us all night with the occasional hotel guest in the bar. Because of the slow night, the waitress came by immediately. My wife and I came here for our Valentine 's dinner on the night before the big day figuring it would be quieter... and it was; only five people at the bar and two other couples at tables, just finishing up. There was only one server (and no host) and that was the bartender. For better or worse, if you only have one server, that person is the face of the restaurant and he or she ought to be very good. This guy had limited knowledge of the menu, to include the wines. He was also very slow. It took about five minutes to be seated and once we were it took him about 20 minutes to get back to us with water and to take our drink order. It didn 't get any better after that. A man's Christmas party. The food was great. Very impressed by their Scotch and Whiskey selections. The staff was polite and attentive. Bar was overwhelmed and underwhelmed, but only because the separate bar that was placed in the actual functional space for the party was placed in a way that made it impossible to tell WAS a second bar there. So all from the functional space flooded the main bar. There must be clearer demarcation. Especially since you go through the main bar to leave.

My wife and I had a great dinner and were satisfied with the exquisite service we received. After dinner we walked to the bar where Jared entertained us with the most pleasant Bar Small Talk from a bartender we had in some time. The environment and vibe were both very classic, but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all in my golf shorts and flip-flops. If I could give a 6 star rating, I would. Thanks Jared and the incredible waitress. We can't wait to see you soon!

We had a great time for dinner here. The food was delicious, and it really came out quickly considering that we got several appetizers and various entrees. Our waitress was so friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, and everything was beautiful. We'll be back!
