Nonna And I - Réserver une table

This place is very deceiving in almost every aspect. With a name like 'Nonna and I' one would expect an Italian chef or as a minimum an Italian waiter/waitress but in my case we got neither. The owner/chef is Egyptian (he told me he was born in Alexandria) and the waitress was Asian. Despite this I like to give every place I visit the benefit of the doubt. This turned out to be a bad decision on this occasion. Although the place was empty we were directed to a tiny table against the wall adjacent the kitchen. Immediately  we had to ask the waitress to turn off the air-conditioner as it was directed straight at us. This turned out to be my second bad call because as soon as it was turned off...

went there with a friend (we're both vego). normally there's just a couple of choices for us, but the menu was quite extensive even for us! the service was lovely, friendly. my only complaint (and this is because i work in hospitality too!) was that they do need a little more product knowledge! but the food.. good lord!! it was truly incredible! the mushrooms entree, the pasta (we had the baked ziti and 'prawns' with capellini) and finished off with the tiramisu. I would 100% go back again! must visit for good vego italian!

I would recommend going to Nonna and I if you like friendly staff and vegan Italian food. We were looking for somewhere to celebrate my sisters birthday who is vegan. We decided to try this place. We are so glad we found it. The staff were so amazing, friendly and accommodating. We went for dinner and it was not busy at all.

Solid lovely rustic Italian food. Great wait staff, very friendly. Chef spent lots of time saying hello to guests in the dining room. Small, tight seating, but that kind of place that you just don't care. First time here tonight... have picked meals for the next 2 visits!
