Cute small restaurant with limited seating. Unfortunately our food was nothing worth coming back for. Noodles were hot. Wings were dry and overcooked. Crispy chicken was cold. Cashier refused to open the restroom for us. We dined in. We asked several times as we wanted to wash our hands. Although she initially said the single bathroom may be occupied she ignored our requests to check or unlock the door. After waiting and informing her no one answered when we knocked on the bathroom door she ignored us. I see they have a recent citation for failing to provide an adequate washing station. Wondering where the workers/food handlers wash their hands ?
I ordered carry out from Noodle Box for dinner last night. The food was hot, but that 's the best I can say about it. The gyoza were fried to oblivion, just short of inedibly burnt. My chicken karaage box contained over-fried balls of thickly breaded chicken swimming in a heavy, dark sauce. This dish should have been called General Tso 's, it was so far from what karaage should be (bite-sized chicken thigh pieces with a light potato-starch coating, lightly fried, no sauce). Noodle Box should remove all their Japanese-food items from their menu until they learn how to cook them properly. Everything went into the trash, no photos.
The chicken Pho at this restaurant isn't the most affordable option, priced at around $15. It was presented in a small paper bowl and came with a plastic spoon. While the flavor was decent, it didn't have enough nùc mam and was instead accompanied by two small packets of sauce—one labeled chili and the other hoisin. I felt a bit let down, especially since the aroma wafting in from outside had been so tempting.
I ordered the Massaman curry with beef, and I found it to be somewhat watery, with not much meat present. The dish was also negatively affected by the large, hard pieces of potato included. On the plus side, the prices are reasonable, and the service is quick. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance. While the food isn't bad, there are certainly better options in the area.

Forget how it looks, this place is all about the food. Just pick anything off the menu (highly recommend the karage chicken) and get ready for the comforting sleep coma afterwards (or you can walk around old Town to burn off the calories).Food: 5/5
I had an excellent experience at this straightforward restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and served piping hot. I ordered the drunken noodle, and it was one of the best I've ever had in Old Town.
I've eaten here several times. All the noodle dishes are tasty, and the Thai bubble tea is a good quick desert. This is one of my favorite places on King St for a quick, reasonably priced lunch.
Pineapple fried rice was pretty good. Added chicken, yum!! Playlist was a little questionable for a noodle shop. Lots of cover songs… ?

Excellent ultra casual Thai. Nice spice. Big serving. Can eat in at the window bench too
