Nori Roll is our go to take-out sushi place in the El Cerrito/Berkeley area! Their quality is consistent and wonderful, and we always love our choices. The family who runs the business are so nice and give us a smile every time we pop in! I highly recommend getting some rolls, nigiri, miso soup, and anything that you love from them! My personal favorite is the Killer Hamachi roll! I also love the sweet potato maki, and all of the nigiri that I pick out (usually albacore, sake, hamachi, hotate). Enjoy!!
Best takeout sushi in El Cerrito and surrounding areas (and worth a drive if you’re not close by). We order from here a few times a month. Honestly it's so good. Like the spicy tuna hand roll is phenomenal and it's like what $6. They don't really have any dining area except for one table. It's more of a takeout place, but that's probably why it's so cheap. High quality sushi the low prices if you don't need the ambiance or whatever Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch
This is our go-to sushi restaurant. It is conveniently in our neighborhood, but honestly, I'd travel for this place. The family run business serves fresh, fast, delicious, high-quality food at a reasonable price and everyone is always super friendly. I'd give it more stars if I could! i only get their salmon and yellowtail collars (kama). they're superb and a great value. i've only ever ordered one or two other things on the menu that i don't even remember anymore (let that speak for itself). i've been going here 3 or 4 years now, just for the collars. We live in the neighborhood and get takeout (there's no dine-in) often--reasonable price and really friendly. Our daughter loves watching them make the sushi.
