Normandie Farm is closing forever in 4 days so this review is for posterity.Dishes are as country french as it gets.Gazpacho had a hint of spice but was a little oily.Wedge and endive salads were great, if lightly dressed.Veal Oscar was very good but between crab imperial and mashed potatoes, it's a heavy dish.Friendly staff. Table service to the patio was pretty good. Quick to take orders and deliver food, a little slower at the end of the meal.
Normandie Farm Restaurant is a legendary, high end restaurant that has served the public with class for many generations. Wait staff is there to serve your every need and the food is delicious with a mouthwatering presentation. Sorry to say this landmark will be closing in June and being replaced with a micro brewery…. What is happening to fine dining?
It’s been a wonderful experience coming to Normandie Farms for many years. I have plenty of memories of different holidays being spent here.. enjoyed plenty of evenings in the lounge listening to some the best piano music. My buddy Carrie always gave his best to make this place memorable.. 10710 Falls Rd will never be the same after June 30-2022 ..
Decided a treat was in order due to a special occasion. I was in Potomac and decided to try this french restaurant that had caught my eye a few times in passing by. Old but quaint and cozy. Wholesome food and quite a pleasant dining experience. Plan to try out more dishes on another special occasion. Réservez une table maintenant
We were seated for our reservation shortly after we arrived. The service was friendly and attentive. The drinks were excellent, and the food was delicious. The restaurant features charming decor and a spacious bar. There’s also outdoor seating available.
I went there this Morning for Bunch with my High school friends. We went for my friend's Birthday. We had had a great time. The food was Delicious. They had abundant variety of delicious foods. We recieved Awesome customer service. Can wait to go back!!!
This has been our favorite event venue for over 24 years. It was my grandfather's favorite restaurant, and it holds a special place in my heart as well. I will truly miss Chef Cary; he created amazing meals!
It's such sad news to hear about the closure. My husband and I loved going to Normandy Farm to celebrate special occasions. We'll truly miss the food, the delectable popovers, and the outstanding service. Réservez une table maintenant
So so so sorry to here they are closing. So many memories for my family for 80+ years. So many functions that I’ve personally attended. Eat drink dance and for the first time sang. We will miss you ??
