Nostalgia di Napoli

I give 5 points if all courses I ordered were deliciousand the price acceptable. I give 4 points if mostof courses we ordered were delicious or at leastvery good but the price is low.I give 3 stars if some of ordered dishes were delicious,but some not. This was the case here.We ordered both Vitello tonnato which came alongquite intense but I thought because the oil in which the Tuna fish was canned was used as well. A big question mark for us. And the veal was nice but completely outpaced by the tuna gravy.Then we ordered two different pasta. It is always nice to do what the locals do. And while in Germany, we walked over to this small but superb restaurant where you can speak Italian if your German is a little rusty. Authentic home made pasta and pizza are as close to...heaven as you get after a long day of visiting the sites. Nice short wine list to accompany perfectly cooked fish or anything else you find on the menu. The price with wine was quite reasonable. The atmosphere was like dropping in on long lost cousins. Familial while not familiar. Walking distance to the S or U.

Visited as part of a group of eight in June 2013. Late evening arrival and the restaurant was still relatively busy.Food taken by the group was a plate of octopus served with lettuce as a starter, this was followed by Tagliata di Manzo served with broccoli and mange toute.This simple food was absolutely exquisite with the textures and flavours unadulterated by sauces or excessive vegetables.The Barbera d'Asti wine was also a perfect accompaniment.I wish that I could visit here more often.... My wife and I have been coming here for the past 5 years and it has always been an excellent event. We have tried both lunch and dinner. There is a changing weekly menu. The cooks are excellent. You will always find something and will never go wrong. Appetizers, pasta, pizza, fish or meat. Everything is prepared with excellence. The prices are a little higher then some other Italian Restaurants but still not too expensive.Parking can be a challenge so bring time with you!

Was there for lunch today with my colleagues... Pizza was great... Still have to try other things though. For the price, one could also go to any other good Italian in Stuttgart - meat and fish dishes are around 20-25€Service was good, but the pizzas took longer than usual, especially for lunch time.

The food and wine were amazing and the portions were large. The place was very full on the Saturday we went, but the server was still very attentive. The place is very small, so I highly recommend making reservations. We will definitely be back again.

This is the most authentic Italian in Germany! All ingredients excellent - fish, truffles, produce of the highest quality, fine wine. Mario, a true Italian personality, makes everyone welcome and caters to any dietary need. Réservez une table maintenant

So far this is the best italian restaurant in Stuttgart, situated in a good position and offering authentic italian dishes as pasta, desserts and good wine. I will certainly return for a pleasant dinner.

The title says it all! If you're after excellent itialian food without paying through the nose in a cosy familial ambiance, this is the place.
