Not As Bitter is a minimalist retreat on East 10th Street that I visited on a warm Friday afternoon after Jummah. Stepping inside, the shift from bright sunlight to a space dominated by matte black walls, sleek counters, and low lighting was striking. The atmosphere felt purposeful and almost cinematic, encouraging a calm and focused mood. I ordered an iced latte and their pistachio orange blossom cookie. Whenever I'm in town, I make a beeline for Not As Bitter to enjoy the Strawberry Fields Latte (the coffee version). The flavor combination is an absolute delight that never fails to satisfy me. I also sampled the sourdough chocolate chip cookie once—10/10, no question. This is definitely one of my top coffee spots in the city. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
