I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The owners were rude and showed no concern for their customers. We waited in line for 25 minutes, and by the time we received our food, they were closing. Instead of being reasonable and letting us finish, they turned off the lights at 9:30 and asked us to leave. I tried to reach out to them for a conversation, but they blocked me on Facebook and Messenger, seemingly hoping I'd just go away. I would not recommend this place.
One of the best cherry pies I've ever had and the homemade whipped cream was AMAZING!! Very generous pieces. Frozen custard was also amazing. The day was a bit overcast and spotty rain when we got there but the outdoor heaters gave us comfort. Very polite staff. Excellent frozen custard with numerous topping options. All outdoor seating. Great place and a must stop when we go to Door County. They have other food options but I have only had the custard. I previously gave this restaurant a negative review, and instead of trying to engage in a conversation, they blocked me on Facebook. This is the exact opposite of what a good business should do. Ice cream was actually caustard, so it's not really a big deal, but it is false advertising. Flavors/sundaes were unique, but flavors were lacking. The playground was cute. This ice cream shop is a must-visit whether you're just passing through or staying in Fish Creek! I'm absolutely in love with the Door County sundae! Be prepared for long lines, especially in the evening. While the kids have fun at the playground, adults can relax by the pond.
We stopped by for a sundae after lunch, and it was quite enjoyable. However, I felt it was a bit overpriced given the portion size. The playground and marsh area were nice added features, and there was plenty of outdoor seating available.
