every year we spend in ilhabela at least a few weeks vacation. habitually we visited the restaurant nowa iorqui on the outer south of the asphalted road (from our pousada about ten kilometers) at least three times for three reasons: the great panoramic view of the sunset over the sea, the good eating and the reasonable cost. the restaurant is located at a height of approx. 100 meters (120 meters) above sea level and the view was recently excellent. the forest between the restaurant terrace and the sea grew so much in the height to cut 85% of the beautiful panoramic view of the sea and thus the spectacular sunset. maybe the best restaurant in ilhabela. they can have a look at the open sea. when they go to this city, they need to know that the civilized place is there the west side, they are always on the continental. but if they are. Going south, you will find a huge view of a place where there is only water. the waiters and owners of this restaurant are really pleasant and ready. but with all this sympathy we asked for a moqueca, and it was the worst moqueca in our lives. small garnel, it was easy to know that they bought it frozen. the recipe was terrible at the place where we expected some dende (the traditional oil to moqueca,) we found a milk cream. not so well seasoned with only rice as a guide....

We went there after returning from the Bonete Beach. It was such a long hike and we needed to have a good dinner. We were actually surprised that the restaurant has that amazing view. All the servers were really nice. Calamari with salsa, or Lula...ao Vinagrete, was a great call. We loved the restaurant.

this is a bit far from the city center, but worth a visit. pricy as any Brazilian location in the high season. we had the murilo style shrimp (with pump-fruit and cream cheese,) and it tasted really good. the service is a little slow.

amazing eating and wonderful service! that is unbelievable! the best place to see the sunset in ilhabela. a must go. super recommend!
