If you want to have the BEST BREAKFAST BAGEL SANDWICH IN TOWN, then you will want to visit NYC Bagel on Arapahoe in Centennial. Now those who know me know I eat at every bagel shop I see so when I say the BEST, it is not something I say lightly. I absolutely love this place. I go out of my way every morning to make it a part of breakfast routine. Why, you may ask? The sandwich is easily twice the size of other shops. The consistency is spot on, same great sandwich day in and day out. And when I eat my egg and swiss on a garlic bagel (see pictures) at 715am, I am not hungry again till about 1230 or 1pm! That's what I call sticking to your ribs! The value is amazing being that I am hungry by 1...
I so wanted to love this place, but it wouldn 't be right for me to say that this place was like a NY bagel shop. The prices were quite high, considering what you 're getting $1.50 extra, for butter? , so that 's the closest similarity I see to NY. The everything bagel at this shop looked promising but it fell flat for me. There was no flavor which is kind of wild to think it is an everything bagel, after all! But this one was missing critical flavors that just weren 't there. I hate to say this, but the bagels you buy in the grocery store are better than the everything bagel I had. The rainbow bagels drew me. And they were a sight to behold. I definitely took photos and posted on IG and sent images to friends. Having these bagels is a great marketing move. Unfortunately, my bagel's impressiveness stopped there. The bagel itself was dense. It was not chewy inside and crusty outside like a NYC bagel should be. And the strawberry cream cheese looked oddly pink at first look. It had to be food coloring, which I realize shouldn't have been so alarming given the rainbow-dyed bagel I bought, but there wasn't even a tiny hint of strawberry flavor to be found. Can't recommend.
Great place to grab a bagel. Good selection of spreads and sandwich options. Staff is very polite and caring. They were out of the everything bagels but informed me they had some coming out. After a 10 minute wait I know need to find the perfect time to get bagels fresh and hot as it was the best everything bagel I’ve had in CO. The everything is my favorite even before the privilege of getting one hot out the oven.Anyone talking about not the same as NY due to water… no &it.
