O Bote Gonçalves - Réservation de table

We went there on the basis of the very positive Google reviews and were not disappointed. The interior of the restaurant was not unusual, but functional and gave a comfortable atmosphere. The staff on the other side was exceptionally friendly and the food was simply amazing. We decided to choose the seafood for two people and were surprised by the size of the part that simply served 3 people and the freshness of the ingredients. If we stayed longer in Setubal, we would definitely have gone back there. 5/5 stars.

The food is delicious. The servers did not speak English, but they have menu in English. The place is cozy and serves typical local Portuguese cuisine in a budget-friendly way. Incredibly fresh seafood home wine and great service with a touch of love. A great place to hang out in the heart of the city.

Really enjoyed our dinner here! Had a mini emergency but they were flexible with our reservation. The white wine sangria was spectacular and the choco frito was also good. Would love to come back and try the other dishes. Simple place with good food and friendly people. Also get the dessert!

Great food, interesting choice of seafood rice dishes (we had the razor clam rice, loved it), great service. They also have a competent selection of wines, including a number of Vinhos Verdes (for very low prices), which go well with food. One of the best in Setúbal. Réservez une table maintenant

We were 3 adults and 1 kid, ordered a Choco (fried cuttleish) and a pot of seafood rice. We were very full and the food ate very yummy. Price to value is really good. Would love to come again for other dishes.

Friendly service and delicious food. I recommend the white wine sangria to drink and the Baba de Camelo (I had two) for dessert. It didn’t seem like one could go wrong with the main courses offered.

Extremely cozy place with very friendly people here! Feels like visiting friends. Strongly recommended : We were well stuffed and paid only 20€ per person for a great dinner.
